Getting Started & Finding Work on OMJ app

How easy was it to create your profile and find work on OMJ? 

It was very easy. I found it quite, like, basic, but still thorough enough to, like, get my information across. 

Did you experience any challenges when setting up your account or searching for shifts? 

Just the timesheet thing of clocking-in on-time and then clocking-out which is I didn't actually get the notification. I mean, I’ve turned on the notification, but it wasn't sending me the clock-in. I had to physically go to the app, and then it told me I kinda missed to clock-in. I just reckon about notifications, like getting a notification on my phone to say things like ‘time to clock-in’ type of thing.

Communications & Support

How has your experience been using the chat function with businesses? 

Awesome. For them to get in touch with me, was great. You're actually straight into the chat. 

They got a hold of me, and I was pretty much away from this. I'll give that a five stars here.

Have businesses been responsive and easy to communicate with? 

Very responsive. Just getting hold of them through the in-app chat. They're [client] quite easy to deal with. So, yeah, everything was good on that end. 

Benefits & Unique Features

What has been the benefit of next day pay for you? How has it helped?

It helps me financially due to working weeks. I don't have to wait till next wee just for, like, a days pay or two day's pay which is actually quite awesome. That system helped in regards to the situation I was in. It depends on everyone's situation, but for me, yeah, that was awesome. That was a thumbs up for me. 

How does OMJ compare to other ways you've found work in the past? 

It's more accessible than a lot of other things. OM as an app where everything else is email based. I could say that's probably the best thing about it. 

What do you like most about using OMJ? 

Just the fact that you guys are creating a job app, to be honest. Getting your app out there, it's going to help a lot of people in the future.

Would you recommend OMJ to other temp contractors, and why?

Yeah I would. Another company I'm working with would probably find this app useful because they go through a lot of seasonal workers. 

Can you share a specific example of a positive experience you've had using OMJ?

Meeting new clients. It's hard to get hold of work out here nowadays, and thats probably the most positive thing about it, was putting me into more work which I needed. Everybody wins!
